Matt Oxley and Kevin Sharp are the Co-founders and Directors of the award winning User Experience (UX) and digital agency DotLabel based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Matt Oxley, Co-Founder and Director
Matt comes from a creative design background with a passion for user-centred digital experiences. In his career Matt has held the role of Creative Director at agencies Intercea and NetSitePro providing expert advice to household brand names such as Barclays, Barclaycard, Ribena, Kronenburg, 1664.
Matt manages the New Business, Account Management and Project Management teams at DotLabel.
Kevin Sharp, Co-Founder and Creative Lead
Kevin has worked alongside Matt for the past 18 years. A dedicated creative, passionate about user interface design and UX, Kevin graduated from university with a first class honours in graphic design and holds the position of Creative Lead at DotLabel.
Kevin manages the Web Design, Web Development and UX teams at DotLabel.
Where it all began...
In 1996 Matt was hired at an ambitious start-up creative design agency and had all of the energy and autonomy needed to thrive. In 1999, Kevin also joined the agency. As a result of its success, the company was bought out with Matt retained as Creative Director. As the buy-outs continued by larger corporations, the once fun, creative and dynamic atmosphere was completely lost with the team being located in a soulless data centre. Feeling their creativity and motivations being drained away, in 2007, Matt and Kevin decided to break the cycle and start over with a brand new agency ‘DotLabel’.
Combining their passion for the digital world and their love of creative brands inspired the ‘DotLabel’ name. 10 years later, DotLabel successfully boasts a prestigious client list including Hendricks Gin, The Balvenie, Barclays, SDL and Anthony Nolan. The agency is proud also to have been recognised with industry awards from Wirehive, The Drum, UXUK, and BIMA.
DotLabel has evolved over the years from a creative design web agency to a digital and user experience agency for websites, apps, intranets and portals.
The skilled team at DotLabel takes a user-centred approach to all digital projects to ensure better conversions. The business is continuing to grow and is excited to be regularly taking on new user experience research and insights projects.
