New Business Development Manager

We are seeking a commercially minded and experienced New Business Development Manager to join our award winning team and help us fulfil our ambitious growth plans.

This new sales role will be focused on generating new business and securing new clients for User Experience, digital design and development projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun, creative environment, whilst driving revenue to grow the business to the next level, and to be rewarded for your efforts.

You should be genuinely passionate digital and want to improve online experiences. You mustn’t be afraid to pick up the phone to find out about a business’s digital challenges, and it would be great if you already have an understanding how UX can help organisations achieve better online results.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing the sales pipeline to achieve agreed KPIs
  • Managing the sales lifecycle from lead and opportunities through to sales
  • Building relationships through face-to-face meetings, networking and telephone contact.
  • Taking a consultative approach to selling
  • Writing proposal and tender responses
  • Working with the Marketing Manager to provide sales insight and lead follow up.

 

What we are looking for:

  • 5 years proven B2B sales experience in a digital agency or technology sales role
  • Experience of the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing Director level
  • Ability to identify qualified, prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships via phone and face-to-face
  • Able to provide evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Skilled at developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation opportunities.
  • Professional, pro-active and tenacious attitude
  • Excellent communication skills to include pitching proposals
  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills.

  • An excellent base salary plus commission packages based on experience
